Melody Pines is proud of its mature and
capable staff. The camp staff consists of approximately 40 individuals
including an Assistant Director, Waterfront Director(s), Nurse(s), Senior
Counselors, Junior Counselors, and Counselors in Training. On any given
year 95 -100% of our staff is comprised of former MPDC campers.
Our Senior Counselors are most often students aspiring toward a career with children
as teachers, nurses, etc. All are thoroughly screened as the safety, well-being,
and happiness of your children are at heart.
Our Junior Counselors and Counselors in Training are typically individuals who
have been with us through their childhood years and whom, as teenagers, we feel
are responsible and have a genuine interest in the happiness of children. We
work with these young adults to develop the necessary skills to become future
counselors.
