Melody Pines has once again been awarded the Safety First
award from Markel Insurance. We are very proud of the work our staff does
each year to keep the children of Melody Pines safe.
This fall, we are undertaking some exciting projects
here at camp! At the top of this list, is adding extra bathrooms and a
second story to our locker room building! This will give both our camper
and our staff more space and allow groups to transition from land to water
much more smoothly.
In addition, we have seed the lawns, planted trees and
shrubs around the property, and built new lifeguard chairs for the waterfront.
We are also working on an expanded pond walk for our nature lovers. As
always, we are working on plans for new and exciting crafts, activities,
and special guests in order to create a fun filled summer for our campers.
